How these tiers are computed
Every vote is one letter from S (best) to D (weakest). For each item we average the votes, giving S four points, A three, B two, C one and D zero, then round to the nearest tier: 3.5 or more is S, 2.5 or more is A, 1.5 or more is B, 0.5 or more is C and anything lower is D. Items under 10 votes are not placed anywhere, so a handful of early votes cannot decide a tier. Votes are one per item per visitor per month, and the tier list can shift after a game update when players change their minds.

Frequently asked questions
How is this RIVALS tier list made?
It is not our opinion. Each visitor can rate an item from S to D. We average the votes (S counts 4, A 3, B 2, C 1, D 0) and show the item in the tier closest to that average. The page refreshes the numbers live, so the list moves as more players vote.
Why are some RIVALS items not ranked yet?
An item needs at least 10 votes before we place it in a tier. Until then it stays in the alphabetical list marked "not enough votes yet", because a tier from two or three votes would just be noise.
Can I change my vote?
Yes. Vote again on the same item and your earlier vote is replaced. Each visitor gets one vote per item per month, and we store only a salted hash, never your IP address.
Where does the RIVALS item list come from?
The names come from the "Weapons" category of the RIVALS community wiki, fetched Nov 7, 2026. Wiki pages can include items that are new or removed, so a few entries may be out of date.
